The firm specializes in business turnarounds and corporate restructurings with a long history in hospitality and entertainment. Lanterns portfolio has involved billions of dollars in assets and ranges from luxury five-star resorts, retail and industrial businesses, a dry bulk shipping fleet, financial services firms, and most notably, Lantern Entertainment.In 2018, Lantern Entertainment acquired the studio assets of The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films from the now-disgraced Harvey Weinstein. Lantern Entertainment has since released blockbuster hits such as The Upside with Kevin Hart, Brian Cranston, and Nicole Kidman and produced Project Runway on Bravo.Kristin Mitchell runs the Lantern Family Foundation and recently served as president of the board of Childrens Health Womens Auxiliary of Dallas. Over the past few years, she has joined the board of Bluejack National as co-chair.Bluejack National is different in that this is a purely personal investment for the entire Mitchell family that has become near and dear to their legacy. The Mitchells hope that each new member and resident will share both the love and responsibility that makes Bluejack a special place that will stand the test of time as a true Texas treasure.For the first issue of this magazine, we thought it was appropriate to sit down with Andy and Kristin to get their thoughts on the ever-evolving Bluejack National.Andy, first question, Hows your golf game?ANDY: I love the game, however finding the time to practice and improve is difficult with five kids. Fortunately, my oldest son, Andrew, is playing regularly and I am trying to get the other kids to play with me. But thats one of the reasons I love Bluejackit caters to the full spectrum of golf abilities. Tiger would ask me as we were developing the course, Andy what do you think of that shot?
